Good for you... I know how very hard it is to not go, even if you kind of want to.

Your article gave me goosebumps.

Hope all the stitches didn't fall out.

Hugs,
Nora

My favorite quote: "Its better to have loved and hurt, than to have never loved at all"

Byron,
I know I posted this on your FB page, but I wanted it here, too:

You hit this one right on the nose. Why do we risk our heart's attack, you ask?? That feeling of being in love with somebody who loves you back just the same, and I mean truly in love, cannot be replicated by anything else. Even if just for a day, a week or longer...those feelings and the opportunity to feel them far outweigh any risk of hurt which will eventually dissipate and help us grow. Learning to embrace those past loves (the times, not necessarily the people anymore), to truly appreciate them, and to cherish the ability to reflect on them at will - that's the true beauty of love. No emotion can make you feel so many different ways.

Thanks for making me remember why I haven't given up on the search for my next great love!

Mike
