09.29.09 Notes from a study on how my apartment might haunted:

(As compiled from one very long night)

- Buzzer goes on/off continually. I answer. No response. I go downstairs. No one there.

- Three hours later toilet starts flushing on its own.

- Two hours later bedroom light turns on and off on its own.

I'd be high-tailing my ass out the door.

That's pretty freakin' terrifying.

Well, the buzzer thing and the light thing could be electrical. Unless, of course, the light switch actually moves up and down on it own. You should do some EVP work and see if you catch anything. Also aim your wireless DVR at both the buzzer switch and the light switch. Do these electrical phenomena happen at the same times each time; e.g. 4p each Tuesday? If so, this would be the time to be filming them.

The plumbing could actually be a problem with the mechanism in the tank of your toilet. Do you see water running in the bowl, no matter how subtle? If so, you will need to have the mechanism changed. Keep in mind that sometimes this running is so slow that it doesn't make noise loud enough for you to hear.
