Transplanted from a small town in Wisconsin, Flitsch attended Columbia College where he received a double major in Fiction Writing and Photography with a minor in Art Design.

He wants to be a t.v. host and has some stints in the media world. He’s been featured on Chicago Public Radio and The Onion’s AV Club. He was recently interviewed by NBC’s favored “Mug Shot Monday.“He was also a featured guest on Chicago’s “Check Please.“ (You can see this in the ‘media’ section.)
He was a featured The Moth host, has been in a variety of commercial television opportunities, and has dabbled in a variety of on-air hosting opportunities.
Lastly, he’s taught creative writing to high school students for a non-for-profit program called After School Matters, a writer/storytelling workshop at The University of Chicago, and creative writing for grade school students. He’s currently a teacher for the PEN USA foundation at Daniel Pearse Magnet School in Van Nuys.
He has lofty dreams of becoming a television host for a Travel Channel/HGTV Show (Think how-to superstar), is obsessed with photo booths, enjoys a mean coffee, and will one day write that book he promised his grandma. He lives with his adorable partner, two adorable dogs and and with plenty of other adorables.
